It’s 6:48 a.m. and I’m up with not one but both of my wonderful early-rising children. Sprout opened the fridge and found M&Ms, which I then let her put in her chocolate dinosaur cereal. I know this is a mistake, but I keep conceding to these types of requests because it isn’t a “normal” morning/day/week, and then I realize we haven’t had “normal” for about two months and maybe this is our normal for right now. We made it to the dentist last week and other than the advice to floss apparently she’s looking fine so I’m not sure what the negative repercussions are besides having to live with a human who thinks having M&Ms for breakfast is normal.
